Carburetor and EGR load control valve vacuum hose connection que…
Annotated engine-bay photo of a carburetor and EGR load control valve (LCV), noting the new carb lacks the vacuum port needed to feed the LCV that triggers EGR near 2000 rpm.
The LCV tells the EGR when to turn on. Usually around 2000 rpm so that it does not effect idle, or maximum power output. I dont have the right carb. vac. port! the load control valve does not 1 have a vacuum input cant plug this in. not. havul 1" ' ' ., 5 7 f by y t" l ': A Can I just plug the LCV into the manifold vacuum tree, or does it need to go to the carb? Most of you guys get to tear this stuff off, but any help would be appreciated.
