Dirty engine bay air intake tube and distributor on an older veh…

I connected to my carb using a Spectre #9849 carb plenum. it was to me the best thing to use. altho its a tight fit, it does fit into my 3" Fernco coupling when goes to the rest of the snorkel.

i used silicone to seal the mating surface ofthe carb and the plenum. then used a rubber washer on the top of the plenumb to seal the stud/nut holding the plenum in place.
