The nylon seals are removed and the steel ones have been unclipped. To unclip them push down at one end and at the opposite side of the shaft. This should raise one end higher than the other and allow it to unhook. If it will not come up enough to unhook a pick can be used to pull it up higher. Just be careful not to scratch the shaft.
