The 2003 Subaru Impreza carried the second generation into its final year of round bugeye headlights before the 2004 facelift. The WRX sedan and Sport Wagon continued with the 227 horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter EJ205, and the 2.5RS sedan, 2.5TS Sport Wagon, and Outback Sport kept the 165 horsepower naturally aspirated 2.5-liter. Changes for the model year were minor.
