The 2007 Subaru Impreza closed out the second generation in the United States wearing the hawkeye front styling introduced for 2006. The WRX's 2.5-liter turbo was rated at 224 horsepower and the WRX STI at 293 horsepower under the SAE's revised certification procedure adopted that year. A limited-production STI Limited sedan paired the STI drivetrain with a low-profile trunk spoiler, a moonroof, and leather seating.
