The 2002 Toyota Tundra carried the first-generation design into its third year with the 190-horsepower 3.4-liter V6 and 245-horsepower 4.7-liter i-Force V8 unchanged. The V6 paired with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic, while the V8 came only with the automatic. Regular Cab and Access Cab bodies continued in base, SR5, and Limited trims. 2002 was the last model year with the original 2000-style grille and front bumper before the 2003 facelift.
