Pack bearings, then fill void between bearings with Castrol Pyroplex Blue grease; not cheap grease as shown. Any air in this area will contract during deep fording, causing water to be sucked past the seals into the grease & bearings. Filling with grease prevents this.
DO NOT FILL THE HUB LOCKS. They need air space inside for their mechanisms to move, so they should only have a light coat of grease.
