This document is a factory-style trailer adapter wiring diagram for the 1996 Ford Bronco and F-Series trucks. It maps the complete trailer towing electrical system, including the trailer marker lamps relay, trailer backup lamps relay, trailer battery charge relay (all in the trailer relay box), the turn and hazard flashers, multi-function switch, brake on/off (BOO) switch, and the trailer electronic brake control circuit. Power sources are identified by fuse position and amperage in the engine compartment fuse box (fuses 4/25A, 5/15A, 18/30A, 21/30A, 6/10A, 7/10A) and interior fuse panel (fuse 7/15A, fuse 13). Every wire is labeled with circuit number and color code (e.g., 962 BR/W trailer running lamps, 963 BK/LG backup lamps, 49 O battery charge, 43 DB trailer brakes, 511 LG BOO, 206 W ground). Two pinout tables are provided: the C210M trailer electronic brake control connector (part 14401, 6-pin) and the C417M 7-pin trailer lamps connector, each listing pin numbers, circuit numbers/colors, and functions. A note warns to verify the trailer adapter is a factory-option unit before using the document. Connector, splice, and ground identifiers (C202, C205, C407, C417, S225, G100, G201, G401, etc.) are shown throughout.

This document covers 1996, which may differ from this 1983 Ford Bronco.
