REASSEMBLY 1. Apply sealant to welsh plug and install it on clutch housing. sMTsas l 2. Install striking lever and change shift lever. svw 3. VW, 4. Attach shift fork assembly to mainshaft. 5MT950 5. Determine thickness of shims to be used when clutch housing, transmission case, mainshaft, differential case or taper roller bearing is re- placed. Flefer to Adjustment". 6. Wrap a tape around splines of input shaft to avoid damaging oil seal. l SMTBSI 7. Install mainshaft assembly with shift fork as sembly and input shaft assembly on clutch housing as a unit.
