I've decided to put 4 Explorer tiedowns around the cargo floor, and 2 Suburban tiedowns in the middle floor box beam. Each will have a plate tacky-taped under the floor, but the small ones will be directly threaded to their plates. The larger 2 will each have a loose nut.
