The '87-up ABS sensor (DY1123, F85Z-9E731-AB) bolt is like the rear cover bolts: 13mm hex head @ 25-30 lb-ft. The sensor's resistance should be 800-1400 Ohms across the pins, and more than 10K Ohms from the metal shell to either pin. If any VSS problem is suspected, pull the ABS out & look for damage, indicating a serious problem in the diff. Early axles use a yoke with U-bolts that wrap around the rear U-joint caps. Later axles use this companion flange (221369) sized for 51330X U-joint with 12-point 12mm bolt heads torqued to 80 lb-ft.
