The story

Bought this truck for $500 with a worn out 302, and flaked paint. It was a one owner vehicle that had been donated. I bought it, and replaced the 302 with a used 302. I had plans on selling it. That was four years ago. Since then I wore out the 302 and upgraded to a 351. The difference in power and torque is excellent. I wouldn't want a 302 now. I've put a 4 inch lift , tires, cat back exhaust, and new axle seals brakes, etc. It's a blast to drive with the 5-speed and 351. It's all emmission legal, has cold A/C, and cruis control. Still needs work, but runs and drives tight and great! · carpenter
