The story

bought this from a county auction for $500. The engine was already pulled. It was being used by the county to plow parking lots and drop sand/salt. It had not been well maintained at all! The bearings were shot, and there was more sludge in this engine than others I have seen with more than 300k miles on it... and this only had 79k!! Oh well, I just got the block back from the machine shop... hey look! It cleaned up well. Now to put the puzzle together. Wish me luck, I haven't rebuilt an engine since I was in WYOTECH in 1985. dorkchop
