Buick Regal

1973 Buick Regal Specs & Photos

The 1973 Buick Regal debuted as the top trim of the Buick Century line, built on the GM A-body Colonnade platform with the pillared hardtop roofline shared with the Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and Pontiac Grand Prix. In its first year the 1973 Buick Regal was offered only as a two-door coupe, with a four-door sedan added for 1974. The standard 350 cubic inch (5.7L) Buick V8 used a two-barrel carburetor and produced 150 net horsepower, while a four-barrel 350 rated at 175 hp and a 455 cubic inch (7.5L) V8 rated at 225 hp were optional. All engines paired with the Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic.
