The 1970 International Scout II does not exist; Scout II production began in April 1971. A 1970 International Scout is properly a Scout 800A, the revision built from late 1968 until the interim Scout 800B replaced it in August 1970. The 800A offered International's 196 slant four alongside an optional 304 cubic inch V8, the first V8 that large in the Scout line.
