1971 International Scout II Specs & Photos
The 1971 International Scout II went on sale in April 1971 as a mid-year replacement for the Scout 800B, built at International Harvester's Fort Wayne, Indiana plant. It kept the Scout's 100 inch wheelbase but wore a longer, squarer body with a removable full-length steel Traveltop. Launch engines included the 196 cubic inch slant four, the AMC-sourced 232 six, and International's 304 V8.
