1977 International Scout II Specs & Photos
The 1977 International Scout II added the SSII, a stripped open-body model with soft doors, a soft top, and a roll bar aimed squarely at the Jeep CJ. Standard Scout IIs continued with the 196 slant four, the optional 304 and 345 V8s, and the Nissan SD33 diesel. By 1977 the Scout was International's only passenger vehicle, built at Fort Wayne, Indiana.
