1974 International Scout II Specs & Photos

The 1974 International Scout II upgraded its chassis, with the stronger Dana 44 front axle and front disc brakes arriving during the model year; the 44 was offered alongside the lighter Dana 30 before fully supplanting it the following year. Engine choices remained the 196 slant four and the 304 and 345 V8s. All 4x4 models used the gear-drive Dana 20 transfer case with a 2.03:1 low range.
