1978 International Scout II Specs & Photos
The 1978 International Scout II entered the year with the broadest Scout range yet: the standard 100 inch wheelbase wagon, the open-body SSII, and the 118 inch Terra pickup and Traveler wagon. Power still came from the 196 slant four, the 304 and 345 V8s, or the SD33 diesel, with a turbocharged SD33T arriving in the line's final years. A luxury conversion package outfitted by Midas of Elkhart, Indiana was offered on the Traveler.
