I really like this charging cradle, but I hate that it only mounts by suction. So I built a base that fits the dash better. The arm pivots on 2 layers of self-adhesive UHMWPE tape so that the screw can be tight, but the arm still swings and doesn't mar the paint. Right now, it's only held in by friction between the dash & pad, but I can add screws later if necessary.
