i disassembled the hubs and removed the drum brakes to make the axle much lighter. they will be rebuilt later with disc brakes and new bearings. the housing is very light when its bare.

after a good few hours i managed to get it installed with a good pattern. the 9" crush sleeve eliminator worked good. the Yukon install kit was the best kit i ever used. the electronic locker was pretty heavy, defiantly easier doing with axle out from under the truck
