It's relatively easy to swap LED bulbs (festoons) into the dome lamp - especially the plastic dome/map, used in some '94-96 F-series & many other Ford/L/M vehicles. Those used in other vehicles are often color-matched to the interior, and this shape of dome/map has the same screw pattern as all '80-96 F-series/Broncos, so it's an easy swap to get a MUCH-better lens than than those in the older chrome dome/map.
