![The spindles have been off before, but their bearings & seals are still OK, so I didn't change them then or now. But I did tape them off & then sandblast the rusty areas of the spindle, polish the seal surfaces, paint what had been rusty, and painted the pilots (that commonly seize in the steering knuckles, resulting in the chisel marks) with graphite-bearing paint ([url=https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G6MSNU4]EZSlide[/url]).
