Latch Operating Rod Adjustment IF THE IMAGE IS TOO SMALL, click it. To take up the slack so that the latches open as soon as the handle is barely lifted, simply bend the rods. The slack is NOT due to the rods stretching (which can't happen), but because of wear inside the latches.
