1998 Ford Taurus Rear Spoiler Placement Sketch - Trunk Lid Measurements

This document is a hand-drawn measurement sketch on green Ampad graph paper (pad stock numbers 22-141, 22-142, 22-144 printed in the header) showing the placement of a rear spoiler on a vehicle trunk lid (decklid). The sketch depicts the trunk lid outline from above with the spoiler drawn as a curved wing shape near the rear edge. Three dimensions are noted: a 5/16-inch gap between each side of the spoiler and the corresponding edge of the trunk lid (left and right), and a 7 3/4-inch measurement from the rear edge of the trunk lid to the forward end of the spoiler's side mount. An arrow points to a circled spot at the bottom center rear of the spoiler with the handwritten note "Edge of spoiler even with edge of lights," indicating the rear edge of the spoiler should align with the edge of the taillights. The document was uploaded to a 1998 Ford Taurus gallery as "Spoiler.jpg," and while the sketch itself carries no year, make, or model markings, nothing in it contradicts that attribution.
