My first attempt at a new tranny cross member, formerly Josh's trailer hitch. It's a great design and very strong, but unfortunately it proved to be about an inch and a half too tall. Ultimately it would have worked, but I wasn't willing to sacrifice an inch and a half of ground clearance, so I had to build another one.
