All 8.8" diffs share a cover pattern, so this will fit a solid axle. The mounting ears don't interfere with anything on a solid-axle vehicle, but they'll be easy to cut off later if necessary. There's a vent bore at the top R that's easy to thread for a 1/4" MPT-5/16" hose nipple adapter.
This is a 1L2Z-4033-AC (2002-06), but 7L2Z-4033-B (2007-10) will probably work just as well. The version without the mounting ears is
DR3Z-4033-B.
