The wiring connectors fit out the hole in the door, but the harness can also be unplugged from the passenger kick panel & fed out of the body. The '92-96 driver's door harness is continuous all the way across the firewall, so it MUST be fed out this way, unless the dash is removed first. '80-91 driver's door harnesses have connectors in the kick panel, like all passenger harnesses.
