I have a friend in the powdercoating business, so I had him do the whole thing just because... The special green mylar tape sticks during the washing & curing processes, so I used it to keep the machined surfaces from being powdered. I expected him to powder the whole inside, but for some reason, he stuffed it with newspaper to keep the powder mostly out. That's why it's only on the bearing caps.
