Interestingly, though the connectors aren't wired for it, this module responds to the TRUNK button on a Type 3 remote. The keyless entry pad also operates it, using the code on the label. It turns out all RKE modules are built to perform all possible functions, regardless of the vehicle they're installed in. So it's relatively easy to add those missing functions to a vehicle built with this module.

But it's a NIGHTMARE to add the module to a vehicle NOT originally-equipped.
