A line of 4x4s works up a narrow, deeply rutted dirt trail hemmed in by evergreens, led by a yellow Jeep Wrangler with a white full-size truck and more rigs queued behind it. Two spotters in flannel and a third person in a white shirt stand alongside the trail directing the climb over loose rock and mud.
