No idea what's wrong with this dipstick, but under no circumstan…

No idea what's wrong with this dipstick, but under no circumstances does it ever touch oil. I even bought an aftermarket super long dip stick and it wouldn't even touch oil. The only way I know its topped off is to do a full oil change. Frustrating.
