where the pipe enters the body. i made it enter where the existing airfilter box sits. i ripped out the inside layer of metal and peeled it back cause i wasnt worried about looks in here. i used a 3" FERNCO couplingto clamp it to the pipe and allow an easy disconnect and reconnect ftom the pouside piece to the inside piece
