MGB 18G/18GA Torque Wrench Settings - Engine, Axle, Suspension & Steering Specs

Engine specifications include main bearing nuts (70 lb. ft.), cylinder head nuts (45-50 lb. ft.), big-end bolts (35-40 lb. ft.), flywheel set screws (40 lb. ft.), rocker bracket nuts, oil pump, sump, timing cover, rear plate, water pump, manifold, oil filter, clutch-to-flywheel, carburetter, distributor clamp, and fan blade fasteners. Rear axle values cover the crown wheel to differential carrier (55-60 lb. ft.), differential bearing cap (60-65 lb. ft.), pinion bearing nut (135-140 lb. ft.), rear brake adjuster nuts, and bearing retaining nut (180 lb. ft.). Suspension figures include rear shock absorber bolts (55-60 lb. ft.), front shock absorber bolts, brake disc to hub, brake calliper mounting, front bearing retaining nut, and cross-member to body. Steering torques cover the steering arm bolts, steering-wheel nut, tie-rod locknut, lever ball joint nut, and universal joint bolt. Road wheel nuts are specified at 60-65 lb. ft.
