16oba.jpg These Land Rover (Dunlop/Johnson) air tanks fit well where the midship fuel tank would go on a pickup, and the shortened fuel tank strap works perfectly. The plumber's strap is just temporary. After extracting the plugs from the tanks, they'll be plumbed together & to several 12V compressors, which will be wired to the aux. battery.

The inboard tank is 9.7L; the outboard is 9.4L (~2.4gal total), and is about 1" from the shock sleeve. But since they don't move much in relation to each other, it won't matter if they come into contact. At least one of the compressors will probably be mounted above the tanks near the shock.

The lower front port on the inboard tank will connect to the center front on the outboard, which will be the "main" tank. Any moisture that works into the inboard will be blown back to the outboard during use or draining.
