img_0695.jpg Once everything is disconnected from the throttle body and upper plenum, there are 6 bolts around the perimeter of the upper plenum where it meets the lower. The one of the inside if the center section is a Torx T40. I used a long extension to get it in there. It was a TIGHT fit. They sell a special tool for it if you need it. Once those 6 bolts are out, the plenum and throttle body should be free to come out. This is what you will see when it is off. Notice the crappy spark plug routing. I fixed that while the plenum was off. Now is also a GREAT time to replace your PCV valve.
