This passenger-assist handle took more time than I thought (because my first bracket design was wrong), but it was easier than I expected to get the position right. I can't remember what the handle came from, but based on the bolts, I think it was a GM truck.
I'm adding comfort handles above the doors. They probably won't be strong enough for climbing in since they use plastic mounts to stand off for the headliner, but no one expects an assist handle there, anyway.
