Ford F-150
1985 Ford F-150 Specs & Photos
The 1985 Ford F-150 took an early step toward fuel injection: the 302 (5.0L) V8 gained central fuel injection (CFI), a throttle-body-style system that replaced the carburetor on that engine. The XLT Lariat returned as the top trim above XL and the base model. The 300 inline-six stayed carbureted, and the F-150 4x4 kept its Twin-Traction Beam (Dana 44) front suspension within the seventh-generation body.
The 1985 Ford F-150 is part of the Bullnose F-150 generation (1980–1986). See the full Ford F-150 1980–1986 registry →
