The 1974 Ford F-250 introduced the SuperCab extended cab, adding interior space behind the front seat. The engine range continued with the 300 inline-six, the 302 and 351 Windsor V8s, the 360 and 390 FE big-blocks, and the 460. The 1974 F-250 4x4 used a solid front axle, typically a Dana 44.
