1994 Ford Probe Specs & Photos
The 1994 Ford Probe continued the second-generation lineup of the base car and the GT on the Mazda GE platform. The base Probe used the Mazda FS 2.0-liter four (118 hp, 127 lb-ft), and the GT used the Mazda KL 2.5-liter V6 (164 hp, 156 lb-ft). For 1994 a passenger-side airbag was added, standard on the GT and optional on the base car, with dual front airbags becoming standard across the line for 1995. The 1994 Probe was built at Flat Rock, Michigan alongside the Mazda MX-6 and shared its mechanicals with the MX-6 and 626.
The 1994 Ford Probe is part of the Second-Generation Probe (1993-1997) generation (1993–1997). See the full Ford Probe 1993–1997 registry →
