The 1995 Ford Probe continued the second-generation coupe with the base car, an SE trim, and the GT on the Mazda GE platform. The base and SE used the Mazda FS 2.0-liter four rated at 118 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque, and the GT used the Mazda KL 2.5-liter V6 rated at 164 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque. The 1995 Probe shared most of its mechanical hardware with the Mazda MX-6 and 626 and was built at Flat Rock, Michigan.
