After an agonizingly-slow diagnosis (due to the intermittent fault), I pinpointed the PIP as the cause of the engine stalling occasionally at exactly the same place. Luckily, I found this DU-50 (E9TZ-12A112-A) locally for less than on eBay or Amazon.
