First things first. Since the truck will be getting paint, and I don't trust a body shop to do the right thing, I've stripped the truck down, and I've addressed all the little 'pock marks' in the paint. Most of them are quite small--size of a grain of rice. Others are somewhat larger, and in some areas (driver's door for example) there are what we call "Colorado Pinstripes" from having taken the truck in the weeds. All these little imperfections must be CORRECTLY addressed so that they don't manifest themselves under a new paint job later.
