The tailgate had a lot of paint chipping and pock marks that I thought I would address. Much like the rest of the truck, I ground down the paint in the affected areas and used a fast catalyzing spot putty. I didn't want to simply make the surface flat and have bubbling paint underneath, so any questionable paint was removed and glazed.

Have I mentioned yet that I really hate body work?
