just like my 96, i am going to bedline the floor and put vinyl flooring over it. i did not use the sound insulation. i also had new seats to put in and the rus on the floor was getting pretty bad.

i cleaned off the loose rust and put rust converting spray on. i then used sections of vinyl to cover the large rust holes. you can see some of the patches in the picture. it doesnt add support but i figured its better than leafing a giant hole and helps keep water from getting under the vinyl flooring.

i then used Duplicolor bed liner and smothered the floor thick with liner and gave it a week to dry. still had soft spots but i dont care. better than nothing as for waterproofing
