Two axle shafts with U-joint yokes laid side by side on a white surface for comparison, the used one at top still has its slinger and oil-stained shaft, while the cleaner heavier-splined shaft below rests on plastic wrap. The difference in spline count and shaft diameter is the point of the shot.
