To flush the pump I've already added that clear hose to the low pressure return pipe of the cooler and dumped it in the drain pan. Now I shove a drill bit into the new low pressure hose attached to the pump. This will allow me to pull it out easily and attach the hose to the cooler pipe once I've cycled enough fluid through to have flushed the PS system.
