This document outlines the steps for disassembling and inspecting the final drive, including measurements for side gear to pinion mate clearance.
DISASSEMBLV 1. Remove final gear, sMTsIo 2. Drive out pinion mate shaft lock pin and draw out pinion mate shaft, sMTsn 3 Drive out differential side bearing inner races. Be careful not to confuse the right- and left-hand ' burings. INSPECTION 1. Check mating surfaces of differential case, side 4 a g gears and pinion mate gears Oi , V? N . Replace as required.
