I used the bottom of the Radio Shack project box to mount a fan overide switch and indicator. The indicator is connected to the solinoid contact that supplies voltage to the fan. That way if the fan fails, I can easily isolate between fan and control.

The Voltage meter has nothing to do with the Fan installation
