A partially assembled small-block V8 sits on an engine stand in a garage, one Edelbrock aluminum cylinder head bolted on with rockers and pushrods installed while the opposite bank is bare, exposing the lifter valley and valve reliefs. An Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, timing cover, harmonic balancer and orange Fram oil filter are fitted, with the Edelbrock head box, a Hurst shifter box and a new water pump box stacked alongside.
